Senior Specialist - Quality Engineering

Role description

Responsibilities

Develop document and maintain test plans and procedures for manual and automation testing

Develop document and maintain automation scripts for testing

Integrate test automation with continuous integration and deployment CICD pipelines in collaboration with DevOps

Support efforts to meet integration and performance expectations with web mobile and database systems

Develop test and maintain test automation scripts and complex SQL queries

Independently analyze solve and correct issues in realtime providing problem resolution endtoend

Collaborate to define document improve and automate processes track issues to resolution and document changes

Participate in scheduled and adhoc deployment activities during business hours and occasionally during offhours as necessary

Share domain and technical expertise providing technical mentorship and crosstraining to peers

Work independently and as part of a team engage and interact with technical support product management developers DevOps and occasionally end users to understand issues and requirements

Utilize repositories and tracking systems such as Git Confluence and JIRA for documentation test scripts test results configuration and supporting data

Document architecture issues solutions recommendations testing procedures automation scripts data sets and environments

Research and recommend emerging tools frameworks and methodologies to match innovation and continuous improvement goals and initiatives of the organization

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related technical discipline

Excellent written and verbal communications

5 years of QA with some Automation experience

Experience in various types of testing smoke system integration regression performance load user acceptance blackwhite box etc

Ability to write read and understand code Python Javascript SQL C and others

Experience in testing web services APIs UI crossbrowser mobile web and mobile

Experience with test automation platforms systems and tools Selenium JMeter K6 Postman Robot Framework CucumberGherkin etc

Preferred knowledge andor experience of compliance with standards such as GDPR CCPA HIPAA FERPA PCI and ADA

Flexible team player getitdone attitude motivated to learn and help others

Ability to organize and plan work independently as well as under the supervision of a lead

Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment
