About the Role:

Green Sparrow Solar Nest (P) Ltd. (G.S.S.N) is scaling. Having established 75MW of ground-mount projects across Tamil Nadu, we are strengthening our centralized design hub in Chennai. We are looking for a Senior Design Engineer to lead the technical lifecycle of both our utility-scale ground-mount plants and our expanding C&I rooftop division.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design of utility-scale ground-mount projects (5MW+) and complex C&I rooftop systems.

Perform advanced energy yield simulations using PVSyst and HelioScope.

Develop detailed Electrical Single Line Diagrams (SLD), Stringing layouts, and AC/DC cable sizing.

Oversee TANGEDCO/CEIG technical documentation and compliance.

Field Engagement: Willingness to travel for site surveys and technical audits across Tamil Nadu when required to ensure design accuracy.

Requirements:

Experience: 35 years in solar PV design.

Software: Expert in AutoCAD, PVSyst, and SketchUp.

Education: B.E./B.Tech in Electrical or Renewable Energy Engineering.
