Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Software Tester with strong experience in Manual Testing and working knowledge of Automation and API Testing . The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring end-to-end product quality and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the quality assurance process for assigned products from requirement analysis to production release.
• Prepare and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for web applications.
• Perform manual testing including functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testing.
• Review test cases prepared by junior QA engineers and provide feedback.
• Execute database testing using SQL for backend data validation.
• Work closely with automation QA teams to review automation coverage and identify gaps.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) using techniques such as 5 Whys and Fishbone Analysis .
• Log, track, and manage defects using tools like Jira, TestRail, or Azure DevOps .
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business stakeholders across the SDLC .
• Mentor junior QA engineers and share QA best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline .
• 3+ years of experience in manual testing of web applications.
• Around 1 year of experience with automation tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress .
• Experience with API testing tools like Postman or Rest Assured is an added advantage.
• Database testing experience using SQL for backend data validation.
• Hands-on experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, or Azure DevOps).
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and SDLC/STLC .
• Experience in RCA and defect analysis .
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
