Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled QA Engineer with 4–6 years of hands-on experience in both manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of test case design, execution, automation scripting, API testing, and SQL queries. This role involves working closely with the development and product teams to ensure software quality through systematic testing and process improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in manual testing with test management using JIRA + Xray.
• Hands-on expertise with automation frameworks such as Robot or Playwright.
• Strong programming/scripting knowledge in JavaScript; familiarity with Python is a plus.
• Solid understanding of Selenium or Cypress for UI automation.
• Experience in API testing using Postman.
• Good understanding of SQL, with ability to write and execute general queries.
• Experience in Workato would be an added advantage. 
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and debugging skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment in an Agile setup.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and integration of test scripts in build pipelines.
• Exposure to version control systems such as Git.
• Knowledge of performance and security testing is a plus.
  
  Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and execute manual test cases using JIRA integrated with the Xray plugin.
• Build and maintain automation test scripts using Robot or Playwright frameworks.
• Script and code test scenarios in JavaScript for web and UI automation.
• Perform API testing using Postman, including creation and execution of requests and validations.
• Collaborate with developers and business analysts to identify system requirements and resolve bugs.
• Maintain and enhance automated test suites to ensure reliability and reusability.
• Write and run SQL queries to validate backend data and support testing efforts.
• Report defects with detailed steps and track them through resolution using bug tracking tools.
• Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and other Agile ceremonies.
• Contribute to continuous process improvement and test strategy discussions.
