Autodesk's Growth Experience Technology (GET) organization is seeking a passionate Senior Software Engineer to join a team of diverse, smart, and driven engineers who are responsible for building brand new customer success offerings. This engineer will collaborate within a high-performing Scrum team where the code, infrastructure, and services you develop will have a direct, positive impact on millions of users of our products. This experience is key to our business and one of our top initiatives around transformation and customer experience.

Responsibilities

• You will design, code, test, debug, document new and existing components to ensure that software meets business, quality and operational needs

• Write high quality code following Test-driven development

• Create and participate in code, document reviews, mentoring juniors in best practices

• Collaborate with architects, DevOps, Support and product organizations on technical issues

• Interpret and translate business needs to technical requirements and accurate estimates

• Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to ensure the highest quality and performance is achieved

• Work with team to troubleshoot code level problems

• Apply deep technical expertise to resolve challenging programming and design problems

• Contribute to the design and architecture to allow secure, scalable, and maintainable software

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree or Masters Degree in Computer Science or related technical field

• 5 to 8 years of relevant industry experience in Node, React and other JavaScript Frameworks

• Knowledge of public cloud service platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS)

• Knowledge in server-less technologies such as AWS Lambda

• Knowledge with container frameworks (Docker) and CD frameworks

• Experience with micro services and RESTful web services

• Experience with scrum and agile development processes and methodologies

• Proactive, quick decision maker with excellent communication and written skills
