Senior Software Engineer – NE Management

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Develop the network management services features such as configuration and operation administration, event management, AAA, Telemetry.
• Participate within the engineering teams in all the development phases: review requirements, design documents, participate in peer review, develop functional test plans, support SQA team and TAC team.
• Participate in developing datamodels using YANG and assist in enforcing YANG coding guidelines.
• Triage and support customer issues.

Qualifications: 

• 7-10 years of working experience with embedded networking products
• Experience as a Systems Engineer for network management of telecom and datacom network elements.
• Experience in design, and implementation of the management plane infrastructure.
• Strong experience in management of network elements
• Strong experience in carrier network deployments for management infrastructure (NOCs, management systems, EMS/NMS).
• Strong experience in management interfaces such as NETCONF, CLI, SNMP, XML, etc.
• Experience in defining YANG datamodel and translation between different user agents
• Experience with telecom and/or datacomm FCAPS (Fault, Configuration, Accounting, Performance and Security) and OAMP&T (Operations, Administration, Maintenance, Performance and Troubleshooting)
• Experience with full software product lifecycle including Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Degree: BS/MS in EE/CS

• India – (Flexible hybrid work model - work from Bangalore office for 20 days in a quarter)
