About the job

We are seeking a skilled Guidewire PolicyCenter Tester with strong functional and/or automation testing expertise in Guidewire applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience validating PolicyCenter configurations, integrations, and end-to-end insurance lifecycle workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Guidewire Testing

• Perform end-to-end testing of Guidewire PolicyCenter including:
• Policy Submission
• Policy Change / Endorsement
• Renewal
• Cancellation & Reinstatement
• Rewrites & Reissues
• Validate rating worksheets, underwriting rules, job flows, and product model configurations.

Functional & Integration Testing

• Test integrations with downstream and upstream systems:
• BillingCenter
• ClaimCenter
• Payment gateways
• Document Management (e.g., DocuSign, Output systems)
• External APIs / Web Services (SOAP/REST)
• Validate data mappings, field behaviors, and system interactions.

Test Case Design & Execution

• Create detailed test scenarios, test cases, traceability matrices.
• Execute manual/automation test cases and record results.
• Review BRDs, FSDs, user stories, GOSU rules, and product model designs.

Automation (Optional but Preferred)

• Develop and maintain automation scripts using:
• Selenium / Java
• TestNG / Cucumber frameworks
• API automation using Postman / RestAssured

Required Skills

• Strong testing knowledge in Guidewire PolicyCenter/ClaimsCenter/BillingCenter.
• Hands-on experience with P&C Insurance domain.
• Knowledge of Policy workflows, UW rules, rating, product model.
• Experience with API testing tools (Postman, SOAP UI).
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
• Ability to create clear test documentation.

Preferred Skills

• Guidewire Certification (Associate, Specialist, or Cloud).
