Primary Responsibilities:

• Design, implement and maintain Java application within all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Track and report status on progress of development activities in team forums such as stand-up meetings
• Participate in planning activities such as Feature Grooming and PI Planning
• Driving innovation through delivery focused on reducing processing costs, automation of CI/CD pipelines.
• Estimate the effort required to execute the business requirements.
• Development of intake pipelines to ingest relevant data into Magnus to support analytics and reporting.
• Debugging and logs monitoring and analysis
• Define and drive improvements in the overall quality including automation, code coverage and inspection processes
• Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in software development
• 3+ years experience Java concepts and patterns including Maven/Gradle
• Experience working in teams following Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc)
• Solid knowledge of JAVA, Spring Boot, Microservices, GIT, Unit Testing and Mocking
• Proven ability to work with databases such as Postgres, SQL etc.
• Knowledge on any Cloud based technologies
• Knowledge on Open API (Swagger) Standards
• Knowledge of Java, Spring boot, Microservices/Rest API’s using Maven/Gradle
• Understanding Business Requirements and translating them into low level design for implementation
• Understanding of Kafka/any messaging queues
• Proven excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively
• Proven solid communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work
• Proven exposure to complete software product lifecycle encompassing requirements analysis, prototyping, architecture, design, development, testing
