Senior Software Engineer - Java

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Java Spring Boot Developer with a passion for building scalable microservices and curiosity about contributing to the next big thing in AI. In this role, you will take ownership of projects, work on innovative AI-driven solutions, and develop robust, high-performing applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain microservices using Java Spring Boot and associated technologies.
• Take full ownership of the development lifecycle, from architecture and design to deployment and maintenance.
• Build scalable, maintainable, and high-quality solutions that align with business goals and industry standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and data scientists, to drive AI-powered innovations.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code with best practices for testing and documentation.
• Participate in and lead code reviews to ensure quality and mentor junior team members.
• Integrate applications with databases, third-party APIs , and other systems.
• Stay updated on new technologies and explore their potential to innovate within the AI domain.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in Java development, with at least 3 years working on Spring Boot applications.
• Expertise in microservices architecture , RESTful API development, and distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Java 8+ , and design patterns.
• Experience with database systems (SQL/NoSQL) and ORM frameworks like Hibernate.
• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies for software development.
• Ability to work independently, own deliverables, and manage priorities effectively.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP , or Azure .
• Familiarity with AI or Machine Learning frameworks and libraries.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Strong problem-solving skills, a proactive attitude, and an interest in building transformative AI solutions.
