Role Title: Senior Software Engineer I Salesforce

Position Summary:

At Marriott International, we are seeking a highly engaged and motivated Senior Software Engineer to join our fast-paced and high-performing application development team. In this role, the candidate will play a key part in designing and building scalable, high-quality Salesforce solutions that meet business requirements and drive digital transformation. The Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment, delivering advanced customizations, integrations, and user-centric applications using Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex, and the latest Salesforce tools.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain robust and scalable Salesforce solutions using Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex, SOQL, and Salesforce APIs.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Design and implement system integrations with external platforms using REST, SOAP, and middleware tools.
• Lead the technical design and delivery of new features and enhancements within the Salesforce ecosystem.
• Ensure solutions adhere to Salesforce best practices, performance standards, and security protocols.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Conduct code reviews, write unit tests, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing Salesforce solutions.
• Contribute to technical documentation.

Skill and Experience:

• 4+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
• Proficient in LWC, Apex, Visualforce, and Salesforce configuration.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce APIs and experience with system integration.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies and familiarity with tools like Jira, Git, and Bitbucket.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce security, governor limits, and best practices.
• Salesforce Platform Developer I certification.
• Salesforce Platform Developer II or other advanced Salesforce certifications (App Builder, Integration Architect).
• Knowledge of data modeling, process automation, and user experience optimization in Salesforce.

Education and Certifications:

• Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
