Senior Software Engineer

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• The incumbent will collaborate with the UX designers and turn clickable prototypes/wireframes/etc into robust interactive applications through endpoint integration.
• Maintain existing React systems, including fixing bugs.
• Design and develop new custom components to meet project requirements.
• Install and configure server environments for React deployments. Maintain and update project dependencies as well as fix any conflicts.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Technical documentation Designing architecture, flow diagrams, documenting technical implementation approaches and pseudocode.
• Work with FE engineers to generate and maintain code according to the agreed coding standard and best practices
• Device strategies, or innovative approaches that have significant impact on the application design.
• Set and evolve standards and best practices for our application development team Conduct code reviews and enforce standards.
• Oversee development process compliance and CI activities.

KEY SKILLS

• 8 -12 years' experience developing modern front-end, web-based applications with core JavaScript, JS frameworks, and at least 2 years specifically working in ReactJS/JSX, Flux, redux, or similar stack.
• Familiarity with common programming tools such as Redux, IDEs, RESTful APIs, Git repositories, TypeScript, version control software, and remote deployment tools.
• Good understanding of common programming paradigms and fundamental React principles, such as React components, hooks, and the React lifecycle.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, object model, DOM manipulation and event handlers, data structures, algorithms, and Babel.
• Define and maintain architecture roadmap, technical solutions for new and existing functionality for each part of the projects.
• Experience in taking the ownership over architecture qualities of front-end applications (e.g.: usability, accessibility, performance, etc.)
• Deliver architectural services, including guidance and conceptual design as well as technical and process innovations
• Bring a passion to remain up to date with the latest trend of ever-changing web front-end development.
• Ability to investigate latest technology and build quick Proof of Concept functionalities to address future business needs.
• Experience in Preparing, improving and introducing new approaches/methodologies/tools and techniques within department.
• Work to meet delivery commitments of feature content throughout the whole Software Delivery Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to optimize code for the best possible outcome.
• Strong collaborator and has skills to participate/guide technical discussions.
• Self-motivated with outstanding interpersonal skills, strong work ethic, and excellent communication and presentation skills.
