Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Backend Engineer with expertise in Python to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain backend systems and services.

Build robust, scalable, and secure APIs.

Optimize database performance and design efficient data models.

Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver seamless solutions.

Debug and resolve backend issues to ensure system reliability and performance.

Implement best practices for code quality, testing, and deployment.

Requirements

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

3+ years of experience as a Backend Engineer.

Strong proficiency in Python with experience in production environments.

Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs.

Proficiency in working with relational and non-relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).

Skills

Strong understanding of software design patterns and principles.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice-to-Have

Familiarity with microservices architecture.

Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

Knowledge of asynchronous programming and task queues (e.g., SQS).

Contributions to open-source projects or technical blogs.

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
