High-Frequency Trading Software Developer
Responsibilities
- Design and develop ultra-low-latency automated trading systems.
- Enhance system performance using advanced network and systems programming methods.
- Implement algorithms aimed at minimizing trading latency.
- Build reliable tools for risk management and performance monitoring.
- Manage the complete software lifecycle from design and deployment to ongoing optimization and maintenance.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship, fostering innovation and engineering excellence within the team.
Requirements
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering from a leading institution.
- 5+ years of professional experience in software development.
- Strong proficiency in C/C++ , with deep knowledge of OOP, data structures, and algorithms .
- Hands-on experience with Linux , Python , and shell scripting .
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- In-depth understanding of TCP/IP , Ethernet , and parallel programming concepts.
- Prior experience in high-frequency trading , hedge funds , or investment banking , with a proven track record of success.
