Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
3 years of experience working with embedded operating systems.
3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products.
1 year of experience with software design and architecture.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience with AI/ML technologies.
Experience in front end technologies like TypeScript, Angular etc.
Experience in Android, Android OS or embedded systems.
Excellent knowledge of product life-cycle, tools, processes and operations planning.

In this role, you will work with the Engineering Productivity Team in India with a focus on delivering productivity platforms and artifacts for a global silicon software team. You will focus on a wide aperture of software development problems from front end to back end and infrastructure development for high availability services.

Responsibilities

Design of creative solutions to complex problems, write organized, clean and maintainable code with minimal assistance.
Build innovative solutions for Engineering productivity software components with focus on scale, high availability, quality and usage of Google Infrastructure.
Build systems to simplify the setup and maintenance of CI and code coverage.
Improve development efficiency across the silicon organization and possibly Google-wide through tooling improvements.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams throughout the development process and influence technical decisions.
