Senior Software Engineer

About The Role:

We are seeking a Sr. Full Stack Developer with expertise in MEAN/MERN stack and PHP knowledge to join the technical team at Capital Now.

Responsibilities:

Design, code, test, and debug scalable technical solutions following Agile development practices.

Provide technical guidance and consultation for web and mobile app development.

Develop strategy and design for new functionalities.

Ensure quality, security, and compliance requirements are met for supported technology domains.

Supervise and lead development modules, serving as the go-to person for addressing complex technical issues.

Provide UAT support and assist in release management activities.

Ensure timely delivery of projects and tasks.

Maintain a clean, versioned code base.

Write quick and effective code to meet project requirements and deadlines.

Essential Qualifications:

Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

Minimum 4 years of practical experience in developing large and complex systems.

Proficient with NodeJS using Express JS or similar frameworks (minimum 3 years).

Experience in PHP, framework design, and OOPs concepts (minimum 1 year).

Minimum 4 years of experience with MySQL, including proficiency in writing complex queries.

Minimum 1 year of experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, SES, CloudWatch, etc.

Minimum 1 year of experience with Frontend development using Angular/React.

Proven ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with minimal supervision. Must be results-driven, detail-oriented, and capable of meeting deadlines with thorough follow-through.

Strong technical, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work efficiently, quickly, and proactively take initiative with a strong sense of drive and determination.

Proven track record in managing substantial projects with multitasking skills.

Desired Qualifications:

Previous experience in the Financial Services domain, especially in capital markets, is

beneficial.

Having knowledge on Caching, Security, NoSql Databases is an added advantage.

Experience with the latest versions of Angular or React is an added advantage.

Immediate joiners are highly preferable.
