Senior Software Engineer C++

THIS IS A LONG-TERM CONTRACT POSITION WITH ONE OF THE LARGEST, GLOBAL, TECHNOLOGY LEADERS.

About the Role

Youll contribute to building robust, scalable features primarily in C++, collaborating with global teams across product design, quality, and UX.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain features for Fusion 360
• Work in a true Agile environment with 2-week sprints and strong test automation practices
• Own end-to-end quality and delivery of assigned components
• Write technical design documents and participate in design/code reviews
• Collaborate closely with developers, QA, and UX designers across global teams
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical discussions
• Develop primarily in C++ using Visual Studio (Windows) and Xcode (Mac)

Must-Have Skills

• 5+ years of experience building commercial software products
• Strong expertise in C++, OOP, Data Structures, and Design Patterns
• Solid computer science fundamentals and debugging skills
• Experience with Windows & Mac development environments
• Exposure to QT, Python, and JavaScript
• Ability to quickly understand and work on large codebases

Good to Have

• Experience with 3D/2D CAD software development
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum practices
• Familiarity with REST/HTTP APIs, JSON, Jenkins, Jira
• Experience with AI developer tools (e.g., Copilot, Cursor)
• Understanding of Design & Manufacturing drawings
• Exposure to ObjectARX

Secondary Skills: Javascript, CAD domain
