What youll do

• Architect the Frontend: Lead the design and implementation of complex, scalable frontend architectures using React and TypeScript . You will make high-level decisions on state management, routing, and data-fetching patterns.
• Drive UI Performance: Take full ownership of frontend performance metrics. You will optimize for Core Web Vitals , manage bundle sizes, and implement advanced React patterns (e.g., transitions, deferred values, and virtualization) to maintain a smooth $60 \text{fps}$ user experience.
• Build the Foundation: Own and evolve our Design System and component library. You will ensure components are reusable, accessible (WCAG 2.1 compliant), and follow the "Atomic Design" methodology to improve developer velocity across the org.
• Optimize the DX (Developer Experience): Lead the automation of frontend CI/CD pipelines. This includes configuring modern build tools (Vite, Webpack), implementing automated testing strategies (Unit, Integration, E2E), and maintaining high standards for code quality through linting and PR reviews.
• Bridge Design & Engineering: Collaborate closely with Product Designers and Backend Engineers to ensure technical feasibility. You will translate high-fidelity Figma designs into pixel-perfect, responsive interfaces while defining clean API contracts.
• Mentor and Lead: Serve as a technical lighthouse for the frontend team. You will mentor mid-level and junior engineers, conduct deep-dive technical sessions, and establish "Frontend Best Practices" that define how we build for the next 3 years.

• Code Scalability: High percentage of shared component reuse across projects and a reduction in technical debt within the frontend repository.
• Reliability: Maintaining a low regression rate through robust test coverage (Jest/React Testing Library) and efficient error monitoring (Sentry).
• Velocity: Measurable reduction in "Time to Market" for new features due to improved frontend tooling and architecture.
• Leadership: Successful delivery of cross-functional projects and a demonstrable "level-up" in the technical skills of the engineers you mentor.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building high-traffic web applications with a focus on modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Deep Expertise in React: You must have a mastery of Hooks, the Context API, and advanced state management (Redux, Zustand, or TanStack Query).
• Expert TypeScript Skills: You understand how to use generics, discriminated unions, and utility types to build a type-safe frontend.
• Solid CSS Foundations: Proficiency with modern CSS (Flexbox, Grid), CSS-in-JS (Styled Components/Emotion), or Utility-first CSS (Tailwind).
• Testing Rigor: Extensive experience with testing frameworks like Jest , Cypress , or Playwright , focusing on testing user behavior rather than implementation details.
• Tooling Mastery: Hands-on experience with modern bundlers and build tools (Vite, Webpack, ESBuild) and an understanding of how to optimize them.

Nice to have

• Experience with Next.js or other Meta-frameworks.
• Familiarity with Micro-frontend architectures (Module Federation).
• Backend experience (Node.js) to assist with Server-Side logic or BFF (Backend for Frontend) layers.
• Contributions to popular open-source React libraries.
