Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience in software development.
3 years of experience testing, and launching software products.
2 years of experience with software design and architecture.
2 years of experience in ML/NLP based products, training data generation, training, tuning.

Preferred qualifications:

5 years of experience with data structures/algorithms.
Experience managing small to medium sized teams.
Experience in quality/ML/search with the ability to thrive in ambiguity.
Knowledge of voice, image modalities.
Knowledge of Indian market.

Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable solutions for AI mode/AI overviews with generative AI models within the Search interface, collaborating with executive team members on architectural choices and best practices.
Work closely with executive engineers, AI/ML researchers, and Product Managers to translate product goals into tangible features.
Manage technical problems related to AI model deployment, quality improvements, and ensuring a seamless user experience on large-scale systems.
Contribute to the team's technical direction and advocate for engineering best practices, mentor junior engineers, and actively participate in a culture of innovation.
Ensure the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of the AI-powered features you develop, contributing to solutions that operate at Google's massive scale.
