Senior Software/AI Engineer

This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you will help shape both the product and the technical foundation from day one.

The Role

As a Senior Software/AI Engineer, you will take ownership of the system architecture and core implementation. Youll work closely with the founder to translate product ideas into reliable, production-ready software and help set engineering standards for the team.

Responsibilities

• Design and build the core backend architecture
• Develop APIs and automation pipelines (input processing output)
• Integrate AI/LLM components into real workflows
• Make key technical and architectural decisions
• Establish best practices for code quality, testing, and deployment
• Mentor junior developers and interns
• Contribute to product and technical roadmap discussions

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong backend engineering skills (Python, Node.js, or TypeScript)
• Experience building and maintaining production systems
• Solid understanding of APIs, databases, and system design
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Interest in AI-powered products and automation
• Experience with AI/LLMs or workflow automation
• Startup or early-stage product experience
• Docker and cloud experience (AWS/GCP/Azure)
