About the Role

We are looking for a Senior SoC Verification Engineer to join our high-impact silicon engineering team in Bengaluru. In this role, you will be responsible for building scalable verification environments and ensuring the functional correctness of complex SoCs used in next-generation compute, networking, and AI platforms.

You will work closely with architecture, RTL design, and firmware teams to verify high-performance SoC subsystems using SystemVerilog, UVM, and C-based verification methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable UVM-based verification environments for complex SoC/IP blocks.
• Create SystemVerilog testbenches, sequences, scoreboards, and monitors to verify functional correctness.
• Implement C/C++ based verification tests and integrate them into simulation and regression frameworks.
• Design directed and constrained-random tests to improve functional coverage.
• Perform debug and root cause analysis of functional failures in simulation and emulation environments.
• Work with RTL designers, architects, and firmware teams to understand specifications and verification requirements.
• Develop coverage models (functional and code coverage) and drive coverage closure.
• Contribute to verification planning, test strategy, and regression automation.
• Support SoC integration verification and subsystem level validation.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 410 years of experience in SoC/IP verification.
• Strong hands-on experience with SystemVerilog and UVM methodology.
• Solid experience in C/C++ based verification or embedded software-driven verification.
• Experience writing testbenches, sequences, drivers, monitors, scoreboards, and assertions.
• Familiarity with functional coverage, constrained random verification, and coverage closure.
• Experience with debugging simulation failures and regression issues.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience verifying high-speed interfaces or SoC subsystems (PCIe, DDR, AXI, CXL, Ethernet, etc.).
• Exposure to post-silicon validation or firmware-driven verification.
• Experience with emulation or FPGA prototyping environments.
• Familiarity with Python/Perl/TCL scripting for automation.
• Knowledge of ARM-based SoC architectures.
