Senior Security Engineer

Position Title : Senior Security Engineer

Location : Bangalore, India

Purpose:

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in manual account provisioning, advanced proficiency in SailPoint (including SailPoint IdentityNow/Cloud), and working knowledge of CyberArk. Experience in managing Vendor IDs and understanding the risks associated with third-party access is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities:

Automate complex application account provisioning and access management activities.

Configure and manage SailPoint IdentityNow workflows, connectors, and policies for automated provisioning and de-provisioning.

Troubleshoot and optimize SailPoint integrations with target systems.

Collaborate with HR, IT, and business teams to ensure accurate identity lifecycle processes.

Execute basic CyberArk operations, including Onboarding and managing privileged accounts, Enforcing password rotation and access policies, Monitoring and reporting on privileged account usage.

Develop and maintain automation scripts and workflows to streamline IAM operations.

Integrate SailPoint with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow), directories (e.g., AD, Azure AD), and cloud platforms.

Implement governance policies for vendor onboarding, access reviews, and offboarding.

Support access certification campaigns and audit requirements.

Maintain documentation for provisioning, access changes, and system integrations.

Assist in the implementation and support of SSO and MFA solutions across enterprise applications.

Perform manual account provisioning across enterprise systems and applications if needed.

Business Strategy

Possess deep functional knowledge & expertise to coach & guide associates to build process capability.

Identify & develop SME talent in collaboration with the TL/Managers.

Relationship Management

Work closely with the respective teams. Collaborate and build strong relationship with functional teams to ensure required support for coaching, streamlining and enhancement of processes.

Education & Skill

Bachelors degree in information technology/information security or equivalent experience in technology

Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.

Work Exprience :

5+ years of experience in IAM, with strong expertise in SailPoint IdentityNow and manual provisioning.

Hands-on experience with CyberArk and privileged access workflows.

Experience in Vendor ID management and third-party access governance.

Familiarity with identity governance concepts, RBAC, and compliance frameworks.

Experience in SAML based authentication solutions using PingFederate, PingAccess and PingOne is a plus.

Experience in automation using scripts in both Unix and Windows environments

Exposure to implementing and supporting SSO (Single Sign-On) and MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication) solutions is a plus.

Preferred certifications -SailPoint Certified IdentityNow Engineer, CyberArk Trustee or Defender
