Senior Security Engineer

Required Skills & Experience:

Technical Expertise

• 6+ years in network and application security engineering with strong handson experience in F5 WAF, web application protection, and traffic filtering.
• Indepth knowledge of HTTP/S, SSL/TLS, web application protocols, and security threats (XSS, SQLi, etc.).
• Experience with F5 Advanced WAF / ASM and related modules.

Security Engineering

• Strong background in firewall architecture, secure access, authentication integrations (SSO, LDAP, OAuth), and access control.
• Ability to tune WAF policies to minimize false positives while maximizing protection.

Tools & Ecosystem

• Familiar with monitoring and analytics tools for security operations.
• Comfortable with automation and scripting for policy deployment and reporting.

Preferred / NicetoHave

• F5 Certifications (e.g., F5 Certified Specialist) or equivalent WAF/security credentials.
• Cloud application security exposure (AWS, Azure, GCP WAF integrations).
• Experience with API security gateways and DDoS mitigation strategies.
