Senior Security Engineer - IAM

The IAM Governance Senior Security Engineer delivers support and technical expertise for a variety of key IAM Governance activities and initiatives. This role will be challenged with developing efficient governance processes, implementing stable technical solutions, and supporting their operation, while maintaining and adhering to IAM standards, procedures, and audit requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver IAM solutions which elevate security, improve compliance, and automate governance activities for applications, infrastructure, and processes
• Provide troubleshooting of supported processes and systems
• Support identity lifecycle and access governance activities, including the execution of ongoing access certification campaigns
• Develop, deploy, and maintain enterprise roles
• Contribute to the maturation of the enterprise role management program
• Fulfil and respond to audit/compliance requests
• Aid in the automation of audit/compliance evidence gathering and metrics reporting
• Assist with the development and maintenance of IAM standards, processes, procedures and Identity Hygiene
• Participate in emerging trend research, product evaluations, and tool selection

Minimum requirements: knowledge, skills and abilities:

• 6-8  years in Identity & Access Management (IAM) at a large, international enterprise, preferably in financial services or other highly regulated industry
• Understanding of Identity Access Management related security issues and identity or account based attack vectors
• Experience with identity lifecycle management
• Understanding of information security principles, practices, standards and frameworks
• Ability to conduct data analytics, resulting in actionable insights
• Understanding of general IT architecture infrastructure and Identity Hygiene
• Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
• Ability to work across a broad range of technologies to deliver solutions to complex challenges
• Expertise with the following technologies preferred: Google Sheet, XML, Scripting, Jira

Formal Education & Certification:

• A Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems
• Security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CGEIT, SSCP, Security+, etc.)
