Skill: SAS 9.4 and SAS Viya administration + Banking Domain

Experience: 7+ years

Role: Senior Technology Engineer

Strong experience with SAS 9.4 and SAS Viya administration.
Proficiency in Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems.
Knowledge of SAS Grid Manager, SAS Studio, SAS Enterprise Guide, and SAS Visual Analytics.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for SAS Viya deployments.
Hands-on experience in implementing and configuring SAS solutions.
Understanding of data integration, ETL processes, and database connectivity (e.g., Oracle, Sybase, SQL Server & Hadoop).

Design and implement SAS solutions based on business requirements.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Deploy and configure SAS applications, including integration with other systems.
System Monitoring & Troubleshooting:
Monitor SAS servers, logs, and processes to identify and resolve issues proactively.
Troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks, errors, and system failures.
Provide root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
Security & Compliance:

Ensure SAS environments comply with organizational security policies and standards.
Implement encryption, authentication, and authorization mechanisms.
Conduct regular audits and apply security patches.
Documentation & Training:

Create and maintain detailed documentation for SAS environments, configurations, and processes.
Provide training and support to end-users and team members.
Develop best practices and standard operating procedures for SAS administration.
Collaboration & Support:

Work closely with IT teams, data scientists, and business analysts to support SAS-related projects.
Assist in data integration, ETL processes, and reporting tasks.
Provide on-call support for critical issues and scheduled maintenance.
