Senior SAP Security and GRC Consultant

Roles & Responsibilities :
Design, implement, and maintain SAP security architecture across ECC, S/4HANA, BW, CRM, and SAP Cloud platforms.

• Lead security design and implementation for both new and upgraded (greenfield and brownfield) SAP landscape projects.

• Configure, implement, and support SAP GRC Access Control modules, including Access Risk Analysis (ARA), Access Request Management (ARM), Business Role Management (BRM), and Emergency Access Management (EAM).

• Implement and manage SAP Identity Access Governance (IAG) solutions for user access risk analysis, streamlined provisioning, and periodic access certification, ensuring end-to-end compliance across on-premise and cloud SAP environment

• Manage full-cycle SAP security upgrade projects, ensuring compliance with corporate security and audit requirements.

• Perform detailed analysis of Segregation of Duties (SoD) conflicts, risk mitigation, and design of compliant security frameworks.

• Oversee user and role administration across diverse SAP environments, ensuring consistency and system integrity.

• Manage SAP cloud security, including BTP, IAG, SAC, and SAP Public Cloud, with configuration and governance of Identity Authentication Service (IAS) and Identity Provisioning Service (IPS).

• Oversee configuration and integration of SAP Identity Provisioning Service (IPS) to automate and synchronize user lifecycle processes, supporting secure and compliant onboarding, offboarding, and role assignments in diverse SAP landscapes.

• Administer SAP Identity Authentication Service (IAS) for robust authentication mechanisms, enabling single sign-on (SSO), secure user access, and effective collaboration between on-premise and cloud SAP applications.

• Develop and maintain security standards and documentation to support audits and compliance efforts.

• Provide leadership support in handling multiple SAP projects and cross-module security requirements.

• Contribute to proposal development and solution design for SAP security opportunities.

• Collaborate closely with internal teams and stakeholders to align security design with business and technical strategies.

Work Experience:

• 8–10 years of hands-on experience in SAP Security, GRC Access Control, and related technologies.

• Proven experience in implementing and upgrading SAP landscapes (greenfield, brownfield) and GRC systems.

• Strong understanding of SAP authorization concepts, user and role management, and compliance standards.

• Solid knowledge of SAP BW and CRM security configurations, analysis authorizations, and data access controls.

• Demonstrated experience with SAP Cloud security, including BTP, IAG, IBP,SAC, and SAP Public Cloud, as well as IAS/IPS integration.

• Skilled in handling multiple projects simultaneously with a focus on quality, timelines, and compliance.

• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

• BE, BTech, BCA, BSc (IT) MCA, MBA (IT) and MSc(IT)
