Senior SAP SAC Consultant for Bangalore (Hybrid)

Key Responsibilities

SAP SAC Planning & Forecasting

• Design and deliver end-to-end SAC Planning models covering:
• OPEX planning (cost centers, departments, expense categories)
• CAPEX planning (asset lifecycle, depreciation planning, approvals)
• Budgeting, forecasting, and rolling forecasts
• Implement driver-based planning , top-down and bottom-up planning approaches
• Build and manage:
• Versions, scenarios, time models, and planning calendars
• Data Actions, allocations, spreading logic, and currency conversions
• Enable what-if analysis , sensitivity modeling, and scenario simulations
• Support frequent re-forecasting cycles in a fast-paced SaaS environment

Data Integration & Modeling

• Integrate SAC Planning with SAP S/4HANA, BW/BW4HANA, and SAP Datasphere
• Design planning-optimized data models with proper granularity and hierarchies
• Ensure alignment between actuals, plan, forecast, and variance analysis
• Maintain data accuracy, consistency, and auditability

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of hands-on experience with SAP Analytics Cloud Planning
• Strong experience in financial planning and budgeting , including:
• OPEX planning (departmental budgets, cost controls, variance analysis)
• CAPEX planning (investment planning, asset depreciation, approvals)
• Deep expertise in:
• SAC Planning Models
• Data Actions, Allocations, Versions, Scenarios, and Time Models
• Experience integrating SAC with SAP S/4HANA and/or BW
• Solid understanding of:
• Financial statements and planning processes
• Forecasting methodologies and rolling forecasts
• Experience working in enterprise or SaaS environments
