Role: Senior SAP EDI Consultant

Exp: 7+ Years

Location: Hyderabad

We are seeking an experienced SAP EDI Consultant to lead and support the design, implementation, and maintenance of EDI solutions across various SAP modules such as SD, MM, and Logistics Execution . The consultant will be responsible for handling partner onboarding, mapping, testing, and production support activities to ensure smooth B2B data exchange.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and support SAP EDI interfaces using IDocs, ALE, and partner profiles
• Collaborate with external trading partners and internal teams to enable and support EDI transactions (e.g., 850, 810, 856, 940, 943, 944, 945 )
• Handle partner onboarding , data mapping, and troubleshooting EDI message flows
• Work with middleware tools (e.g., Seeburger, OpenText, PI/PO, SAP CPI ) for transformation and routing
• Monitor and manage IDoc processing , errors, and reprocessing
• Coordinate and participate in system and integration testing
• Document functional and technical specifications for all EDI-related changes
• Work with SAP functional consultants (SD/MM/LE) to ensure proper integration of EDI solutions

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP EDI configuration and support
• Strong knowledge of IDocs, partner profiles, ports, segments , and message types
• Experience in mapping and translating EDI messages (ANSI X12, EDIFACT) to/from SAP
• Familiarity with B2B integration tools like Seeburger, OpenText, SAP PI/PO, or SAP CPI
• Understanding of business processes related to Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P)
• Strong troubleshooting skills in EDI communication failures and IDoc errors
• Excellent communication and documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in SAP S/4HANA environment
• Understanding of EDI compliance requirements and trading partner specifications
• Exposure to cloud-based integration platforms
