About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled SAP BTP Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in CAP, RAP, Clean Core principles, and Fiori Elements.

This role involves building scalable, side-by-side extensions on SAP BTP while ensuring adherence to Clean Core strategy for S/4HANA.

If you have hands-on experience in SAP BTP development and enjoy working on modern cloud-based SAP architectures this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities:

Development & Architecture

• Design and build side-by-side extensions on SAP BTP using:
• CAP (Node.js / Java)
• RAP (ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model)
• Develop intuitive UIs using Fiori Elements & SAP Build Apps
• Deploy and manage applications in Cloud Foundry runtime
• Develop workflows using SAP Build Process Automation
• Create and validate technical PoCs for new BTP services

AI & Innovation

• Integrate intelligent capabilities using:
• SAP AI Business Services
• SAP AI Core
• Implement responsible AI practices (prompt management, filtering, governance)

Clean Core & Governance

• Promote and implement Clean Core principles
• Use only stable public APIs/events for S/4HANA integration
• Guide extension strategies (key-user, on-stack, side-by-side)
• Perform peer reviews & ensure quality standards

DevOps & Best Practices

• Design and manage CI/CD pipelines for SAP BTP applications
• Work with tools like:
• SAP Cloud Transport Management
• Jenkins / GitHub
• Follow Agile/Scrum practices using Jira/Azure DevOps

Must-Have Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP BTP
• Proven expertise in:
• CAP (Node.js or Java)
• RAP
• Fiori Elements
• Strong understanding of Clean Core for S/4HANA
• Experience with:
• CDS Views
• OData Services
• REST APIs
• SAP Integration Suite
• Event Mesh
• Experience deploying apps on Cloud Foundry
• ABAP on HANA, AMDP, code push-down techniques
• CI/CD implementation for BTP applications

Good to Have

• SAP AI Core / AI Launchpad exposure
• SAP Build Process Automation
• SAP Cloud ALM
• SAPUI5 knowledge
• Experience with AWS / Azure / GCP
• Kyma runtime exposure
• SAP BTP Developer Certification

Qualification

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science / Engineering
• 9+ years of relevant SAP development experience
