WHAT YOU’LL DO:

We are seeking a seasoned Senior SAP BASIS & BTP Consultant to join our dynamic SAP team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the technical administration, architecture, and strategic planning of SAP on-premises and cloud systems, with a strong focus on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). As an IT Technology Services Senior Specialist, you will be responsible for:

• Delivery of complex SAP Landscapes by providing technical expertise and support. 
• Planning, setup, implementation, and operation of SAP technologies achieving ambitious SLA requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure, deployment, and application performance.
• Proper documentation, definition of technical operational concepts and guidelines for the implemented SAP landscapes and roll out of this information/knowledge to the rest of the team.
• Continuously improve and optimize existing systems and processes to enhance efficiency and reliability.
• Drive technology discussions and innovations. Be the escalation point for technical issues.
• Work & collaborate with international teams for global projects with good communication/networking skills.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices.

WHAT YOU BRING:

SAP BASIS Experience:

• 8 - 12 years of Technical SAP BASIS Consultant experience & expertise (ABAP and Java basis administration).
• Mandatory hands-on experience for System Installation, Upgrade, Migration etc activities.
• NZDM (near Zero Downtime Maintenance) & ZDO (Zero Downtime Option).
• Solid hands-on experience in S/4HANA system administration & upgrade.
• Level 3 troubleshooting, performance tuning & understanding of SAP landscape architecture. 
• Experience in the key technical areas of HANA DB and Sybase ASE.
• OS experience windows 64-bit server edition and SUSE Linux. 
• Cloud migration experience in Converged Cloud & Azure
• Good to have hands-on experience with S/4 HANA conversion from ERP
• Knowledge in High Availability (HA) technologies is a must (Pacemaker, MS Cluster & Cloud based HA)
• Any SAP or Cloud certification would be an added advantage.

BTP Experience:

• Knowledge of SAP BTP services would be preferred
• BTP operations in hybrid landscapes (on-premises and cloud).
• Know-how of SAP Cloud Connector technology
• Knowledge of Container technologies preferred. 
• Good to have Site Reliability Engineer skillset such as DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, Git-based development, and automated deployments.
• Any AI trainings on SAP or other platforms would be an added advantage.
