About the Role

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Salesforce QA Engineer who is strong in both manual and automation testing , with deep hands-on expertise across Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Lightning components, integrations, and platform automation. This role demands strong analytical skills, excellent debugging ability, and proficiency with Salesforce-specific testing tools and automation frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

1. Functional & Manual QA

• Analyze requirements, design user stories, and create comprehensive test plans, test cases, and traceability matrices .
• Perform end-to-end testing across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud and custom Salesforce solutions.
• Validate configurations including Record Types, Page Layouts, Profiles, Permission Sets, Sharing Rules , and automation (Flows, Process Builder, Apex).
• Test Lightning Experience UX, including LWC, Aura components, Dynamic Forms, modals, and screen flows.
• Conduct UAT, regression, integration, cross-browser, and mobile-responsiveness testing .
• Execute CRUD/FLS, row-level security, and permission-based access testing.

2. Salesforce Platform Testing Tools

• Use Salesforce Lightning Inspector for inspecting LWC/Aura components, performance profiling, and event tracing.
• Use Developer Console for SOQL queries, debug logs, and Apex monitoring.
• Execute complex SOQL/SOSL queries for data validation and test data setup.
• Utilize Data Loader , Workbench , Salesforce Inspector for data setup, metadata validation, and bulk operations.
• Validate APIs, platform events, CDC triggers, and asynchronous processes.

3. Automation Testing

• Build and maintain test automation frameworks using:
• Selenium WebDriver
• Provar , ACCELQ , Tricentis Tosca , or Copado Robotic Testing
• Cucumber/BDD frameworks
• Develop scalable automation using Page Object Model (POM) .
• Automate Lightning components , handling dynamic IDs, shadow DOM, modal flows, and asynchronous UI loads.
• Integrate automation suites within CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines).
• Ensure continuous regression automation coverage and reporting.

4. API & Integration Testing

• Test REST/SOAP integrations using Postman , Workbench , and cURL.
• Validate OAuth flows, request/response payloads (JSON/XML), integration transformations, and error handling.
• Test asynchronous integrations such as Platform Events , CDC , Batch Apex , Queueables .

5. Data, Analytics & Debugging

• Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills: VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables , data slicing.
• Use Browser DevTools for debugging network calls, console errors, and backend API responses.
• Identify governor limit issues and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks.

6. Test Management & Documentation

• Use Zephyr , Jira , TestRail , or qTest to manage test cases, executions, and reporting.
• Document detailed test results, automation reports, defect logs , and root-cause analysis.
• Lead defect triage meetings and collaborate with Dev, Admins, BAs, and Product Owners during sprints.

7. Collaboration & Leadership

• Mentor junior QA team members and help establish best practices.
• Participate in sprint ceremonies: backlog grooming, estimation, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Advocate for quality engineering and shift-left testing within the Scrum team.

Required Skills & Experience

• 69 years of experience in Salesforce QA with expertise across both Manual and Automation.
• Deep understanding of Salesforce configuration, data model, Lightning UI, Apex fundamentals, and cloud capabilities.
• Strong hands-on testing experience using SOQL, Lightning Inspector, Workbench, Developer Console, and Data Loader.
• Automation experience with Selenium, Provar, ACCELQ, Tosca, Robot Framework, or equivalent tools.
• Strong understanding of integration patterns and middleware-driven flows.
• Familiarity with DevOps, Git branching, and CI/CD processes.
• Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.
