Senior Sales Lead - UAVs/Drones, Oil & Gas, Ports, Defence or Renewable Energy

We're a Bengaluru-based deep-tech startup at the intersection of renewable energy and precision engineering. Right now, we're building solar-electric hybrid aerial platform, UAVs that don't need to land. Not as a concept, not as a roadmap item, but as something we're actively working toward. The idea is simple: aerial systems that stay airborne indefinitely, transforming how data is collected at scale. We're early, we're focused, and we're looking for people who want to be part of building something from the ground up.

What you'll do

You'll own the commercial side of things from identifying the right opportunities, getting in front of the right people, and turning conversations into partnerships. We operate in high-stakes sectors: Oil & Gas, Ports, Defence, Law Enforcement. The sales cycles are long, the stakeholders are senior, and the value proposition needs to be articulated clearly and credibly. That's where you come in.

Day to day, this means building and working a pipeline, developing pricing approaches with the team, staying close to where the market is moving, and making sure what we're selling is backed by collateral that actually lands. You'll work directly with leadership where there is no large layer between you and the decisions that matter.

What we're looking for

• 5+ years in enterprise business development, ideally selling into sectors like Oil & Gas, Ports, or similar
• Someone who has actually closed deals, generated large revenue and grown the customer base
• Comfortable working independently and figuring things out without a playbook
• Strong communicator who can adjust their approach depending on who's in the room
• Willingness to travel when the role calls for it

Nice to have:

• Experience working with defence organisations or navigating government tendering.
• Degree in business or marketing is a plus, but what matters more is what you've actually done.
