Job Summary

The Senior Sales Executive UPS Rental is responsible for generating and closing rental business for Online UPS systems across industries such as manufacturing plants, offices, data centers, events, infrastructure projects, and government assignments. The role focuses on short-notice requirements, time-critical deployments, and repeat rental contracts, while ensuring commercial discipline and payment security.

Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Lead Generation
  • Identify UPS rental opportunities for 5 kVA to 15000+ kVA capacities
  • Target industries: manufacturing units, IT/ITES, data centers, hospitals, infrastructure projects, government events, live telecasts, sports events, concerts, and exhibitions
  • Build relationships with plant heads, facility managers, IT managers, project heads, and EPC contractors
  • Generate leads through field visits, references, dealers, and AMC-unable service providers
Sales Execution & Deal Closure
  • Handle complete rental sales cycle:
  • enquiry site survey technical coordination quotation negotiation PO deployment payment
  • Coordinate site load details, backup time, battery requirements, and redundancy with the technical team
  • Prepare rental quotations including logistics, installation, standby support, and dismantling
  • Close urgent and short-duration rentals under tight timelines
Client & Account Management
  • Manage repeat rental clients and annual rental customers
  • Ensure smooth deployment and client satisfaction during rental period
  • Act as single point of contact between client, operations, and service teams
  • Upsell long-term rentals, standby contracts, and extended backup solutions
Commercial Control & Payment Follow-up
  • Negotiate rental charges, advance payments, and credit terms as per company policy
  • Ensure advance collection before dispatch wherever applicable
  • Follow up for timely payment closure post-event or rental completion
  • Reduce overdue receivables and commercial risk
Market Intelligence & Reporting
  • Track competitor rental pricing, availability, and response time
  • Identify gaps where clients face downtime due to delayed AMC support
  • Maintain CRM records, daily visit reports, and rental pipeline
  • Share market feedback for inventory planning and capacity expansion
Required Skills & Competencies
  • Strong understanding of Online UPS systems & rental applications
  • Ability to sell under pressure and close time-critical deals
  • Excellent negotiation, coordination, and follow-up skills
  • Field-oriented, self-driven, and target focused
  • Strong relationship management with technical and operations teams
Educational Qualification
  • Diploma / Bachelors in Electrical, Electronics, Engineering, or Business
  • Technical sales background preferred
Experience
  • 48 years experience in UPS rental, power rental, generators, or critical power solutions
  • Proven experience handling industrial or event-based rentals is a strong advantage
