Job Summary:
We are looking for a Senior Sales Executive to drive business growth for our metrology and portable 3D scanning solutions . This is a field sales, solution-selling role involving proactive pipeline generation, customer engagement, technical discussions, and end-to-end ownership of the sales cycle .
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in industrial B2B sales , with exposure to metrology, capital equipment, or manufacturing-related products , and will be comfortable engaging with engineering, quality, and management teams at customer sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development:
- Drive sales of 3D scanning and metrology solutions across manufacturing-led industries
- Proactively generate and manage a sales pipeline through cold calling, customer visits, referrals, and networking
- Identify key decision-makers and influencers within customer organizations
- Own opportunities from lead qualification to negotiation and order closure
- Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to regional market growth
Customer Engagement:
- Understand customer's inspection, quality control, reverse engineering, and measurement challenges
- Position suitable portable 3D scanning solutions based on application requirements
- Conduct customer meetings, technical presentations, and discussions
- Coordinate and support on-site product demonstrations and evaluations along with the application team
- Communicate technical concepts clearly in a practical and business-focused manner
Account Management and Market Development:
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers
- Identify opportunities for repeat business, upselling, and cross-selling
- Provide feedback on customer requirements, competitor activity, and market trends
- Ensure smooth handover to internal teams post order closure
Preffered Industry Background:
Candidates with sales experience in any of the following domains will be preferred:
- Metrology / 3D Scanning / Measurement systems
- 3D Printing solutions
- Machine tools
- Cutting tools
- Cutting oils / industrial consumables
- Material Handling
- Engineering Software Sales such as CAD/CAM, PLM, CAE Etc.,
- Capital equipment / industrial B2B sales
Qualifications & Skills:
- 34 years of relevant industrial B2B sales experience
- Strong understanding of manufacturing environments and solution-based selling
- Ability to work independently and manage customer relationships
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Willingness to travel extensively (~60%)
- Mechanical Engineering background added advantage
