Role Overview- What This Role Is Really About:

Picture this:

A property owner is unsure whether student housing will work for them.

A broker is weighing multiple options for a prime location.

A micro-market has demand, but not enough quality supply.

You step in.

You evaluate properties, build trust with owners, negotiate terms, and onboard spaces that will house hundreds of students. You dont wait for growth - you create it.

This is not desk-based sales.

This is on-ground growth ownership.


What You Will Practically Do Every Day: (So You Can Picture the Job)

  • Identify and evaluate properties suitable for student housing in assigned areas.
  • Conduct regular site visits to assess location, feasibility, and demand potential.
  • Build relationships with property owners, brokers, and local partners.
  • Lead commercial discussions on rent, deposits, and agreement terms.
  • Close property onboarding deals in coordination with Area / Cluster Managers.
  • Own supply growth targets for your assigned micro-market.
  • Track local rental trends, competition, and student demand.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new properties.
  • Maintain accurate records of site visits, negotiations, and deal progress

Who Can Apply- Read & Self-Select:

  • I have 2+ years of on-ground / field sales experience.
  • Im comfortable doing site visits and meeting owners face-to-face.
  • I enjoy negotiating and closing commercial discussions.
  • I take ownership of targets and outcomes.
  • I want faster growth than a typical desk-based role

Experience & Education:

Must-Have:

  • Bachelors degree in any discipline
  • Minimum 2 years of field sales experience
  • Experience in hospitality, student housing, co-living, hotels, or real estate preferred

Language & Persona:

Languages:

  • English + one regional language (Kannada / Telugu preferred)
