A Day in the Life

Role requires to work closely with India leadership and various stakeholders across functions such as Sales, Marketing, Finance and Commercial Operations COEs. This highly visible and rewarding position offers the successful candidate an opportunity to lead key Sales Operations initiatives.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Serve as a pivotal data analytics and insights partner to sales and marketing leaders, aiding them in achieving strategic priorities. Manage all business unit data, reporting and the administration of CRM and analytical tools.

  • Oversee field performance reporting and execution analytics, aligning efforts with outcomes such as primary sales, secondary sales, and account management to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Formulate and implement annual sales targets (AOP) for the sales team across various portfolio levels and accounts.

  • Assess quarterly sales performance in accordance with the annual incentive SIP framework. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of incentive plans and business structure, promoting simplification, transparency, and the digitization of sales incentives.

  • Compile and maintain weekly sales performance & calls data, ensuring timely dissemination to commercial leaders.

  • Implement measures to ensure accuracy and timeliness of all outputs, minimizing errors and rework.

  • Conduct thorough analysis of data at all levels—national, area, region, territory, and portfolio—to enhance market strategy and support sales force execution tactics.

  • Support the development of processes to objectively assess sales force effectiveness. Report on monthly and quarterly sales force effectiveness metrics. Prepare customer dashboards and metrics for quarterly management reviews.

  • Develop strategies to promote data awareness and utilization across teams through dashboards and innovative projects.

  • Support needs-based data analytics and insights generation to deep dive business performance and drive newer GTM actions.

  • Proactively identify opportunities for business performance improvements and collaborate with other departments such as finance, marketing, and IT.

  • Generate and meticulously maintain all relevant data to ensure accuracy and accessibility, supporting strategic insights and enhancing business performance.

  • Partner with Salesforce and the Data & Analytics Center of Excellence to conceptualize, design, and implement CRM and MIS tools to enhance performance visibility and process improvement opportunities

Required Knowledge and Experience: 

  • Bachelor's degree with a strong academic record, and an MBA from a top-tier institution is essential.

  • 6-10 years of relevant experience &/ or 3+ years specifically in Business Intelligence & Analytics or Management Consulting.

  • Practical experience in big data management, go-to-market strategy transformation, and business planning.

  • Strong business acumen with the ability to identify problems and opportunities, providing value-added solutions.

  • Self-driven and capable of independently managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

  • Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration skills, with a history of addressing cross-functional challenges and achieving results.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills, with experience in a matrix organization and cross-functional collaboration.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, fluent in English for effective business communication, with knowledge of the healthcare and medical device industry being a plus.
