The Senior Account Manager New Business is responsible for driving net-new client acquisition for ServiceNow solutions. This role focuses on identifying new enterprise opportunities, opening strategic accounts, and converting prospects into long-term customers. The objective is to build a strong new-logo pipeline, close high-value deals, and establish Aelum as a trusted ServiceNow partner.

Key Responsibilities

New Client Acquisition & Business Development

  • Identify, prospect, and acquire new enterprise clients for ServiceNow solutions
  • Own the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure
  • Build and manage a robust new-business pipeline aligned to revenue targets
  • Engage senior stakeholders to understand business challenges and position ServiceNow-led solutions

Sales Strategy & Deal Execution

  • Develop and execute account acquisition strategies for target industries and geographies
  • Lead discovery, solution positioning, proposal development, and commercial negotiations
  • Drive complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles with a consultative selling approach

Product & Market Expertise

  • Maintain strong knowledge of the ServiceNow platform, modules, and use cases
  • Stay current on industry trends, competitor offerings, and ServiceNow releases
  • Articulate value propositions clearly to business and technical decision-makers

Collaboration & Partner Engagement

  • Work closely with pre-sales, solution architects, and delivery teams to design winning solutions
  • Collaborate with OEMs and partners where applicable in partner-led sales motions
  • Ensure smooth transition from sales to delivery post-deal closure

Forecasting & Reporting

  • Own sales forecasting, pipeline hygiene, and CRM updates
  • Track performance against targets and provide regular updates to leadership

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field
  • 7 years of experience in enterprise sales or business development (IT services / SaaS)
  • Proven track record in new-logo acquisition and first-time revenue generation
  • Experience selling ServiceNow or similar enterprise platforms
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to thrive in high-growth, target-driven environments

Preferred Experience

  • Selling to enterprise or mid-market customers
  • Partner-led and/or direct sales exposure
  • Experience in IT service management or enterprise software ecosystem
