Senior Safety Manager

Role Objective:

To lead and enhance the organizations safety strategy by ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, mitigating operational and product-related risks, and fostering a proactive safety culture. The role aims to protect employees, contractors, and end-users while driving continuous improvement in safety performance across operations and product & service solutions.

Role Description:

• Develop, review and implement comprehensive safety policies, procedures, and programs aligned with organizational objectives
• Act as a safety advisor to senior management, providing strategic recommendations on risk mitigation and regulatory compliance.
• Lead, mentor, and manage the safety team, fostering a culture of safety awareness and accountability
• Ensure compliance with local and national safety regulations, standards, and guidelines.
• Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments; implement corrective actions promptly
• Identify potential hazards, evaluate risks, and develop mitigation strategies.
• Conduct incident investigations, root cause analyses, and implement preventative measure.
• Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees at all levels
• Ensure that contractors and vendors comply with company safety standards
• Establish and maintain emergency response procedures, drills, and contingency plans
• Lead investigation and reporting of workplace accidents and near misses. Implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence of incidents
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate safety into operational planning
• Ensure safety protocols are integrated into project planning and execution
