Senior RoR Developer

Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Ruby on Rails Developer (67 years) with deep expertise in Rails 6+ and backend systems, with strong xP, TDD, Clean Code, CI/CD, IaC, cloud (GCP/AWS), and AI-assisted development exposure.

We seek engineers who communicate effectively, influence stakeholders, and elevate engineering culture.

Job Requirements

• 67 years of backend development experience with strong expertise in Ruby on Rails (Rails 6 and beyond).
• Solid hands-on experience with Extreme Programming (xP), TDD (RSpec/Minitest), refactoring, and Clean Code principles.
• Strong foundation in OOPS, SOLID principles, and design patterns.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD (Pipeline as Code) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar).
• Experience with RDBMS (Postgres/MySQL), exposure to NoSQL (MongoDB), and building RESTful microservices architectures.
• Working knowledge of cloud platforms (GCP/AWS preferred).
• Experience leveraging AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., Cursor or similar) to improve engineering productivity.
• Strong conversational skills, stakeholder management, and ability to challenge and improve engineering practices.
