Essential duties and responsibilities include:

a. Conducting research and development in polymer extrusion and injection molding.

b. Manufacturing polymer composite devices and implants in compliance with GMP standards.

c. Preparing comprehensive reports and documentation.

d. Collecting and analyzing data related to polymer-based devices.

e. Collaborative team member, capable of providing data-driven insights.

f. Documenting and planning future R&D initiatives.

g. Knowledge of SOLIDWORKS and simulation tools (ANSYS) will be a plus.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

a. Postgraduate with 2+ years of relevant experience in disciplines such as Biomedical Engineering, Polymer Engineering, Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.

b. Proficient in biopolymer processing.

c. Experienced in data collection, documentation, and analysis.

d. A dedicated team player with expertise in experimental planning and coordinating various operations for efficient research.

e. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, along with strong interpersonal and networking abilities.

f. Possesses a strong work ethic, eagerness to learn, and a passion for research.

g. Capable of effectively working in interdisciplinary teams and managing multiple workflows simultaneously.

Salary:

The salary is negotiable and is at par with industry standards.

Place of work:

The vibrant IIT Bombay campus; May include outside work and visits.
