Role Overview

Frontend Engineer with 5 plus years of experience building scalable, AI-driven web applications using React and TypeScript with a strong focus on real-time features and gamified user experiences. Proficient in modern UI development, API integration (REST/WebSockets/SSE), and performance optimization to deliver responsive, high-impact frontend systems.

Key Responsibilities

Own the complete React + TypeScript frontend for an AI-powered EdTech platform

Build gamified student experience: multi-sensory learning modules, real-time challenges, AI chat interface with streaming responses

Integrate with Python REST APIs and WebSocket/SSE endpoints for real-time features

Required Skills

React 18+ with TypeScript hooks, context, state management (Zustand / Redux Toolkit)

Tailwind CSS or equivalent utility-first framework

Real-time UI: WebSocket / SSE integration for live features

Data visualization: Recharts, D3, or similar for charts and interactive graphs

REST API integration with React Query / SWR, error handling, optimistic updates

Performance: code splitting, lazy loading, memoization

Git + CI/CD (GitHub Actions)

Good to Have

Animation: Framer Motion, Lottie, GSAP for engaging interactions

Streaming chat UI (token-by-token rendering, ChatGPT-style)

PWA patterns, Azure Static Web Apps, Figma-to-code

EdTech or gamification experience
