Position Overview

As a Senior React Developer at StanceBeam, you will be instrumental in building the digital foundation that powers our cricket-inspired technology ecosystem. You'll develop high-performance, responsive web applications that transform complex sports analytics into intuitive user experiences for millions of cricket fans, players, and coaches worldwide. Working at the intersection of cutting-edge sports technology and modern web development, you'll create seamless interfaces that connect users to real-time cricket insights, performance data, and immersive digital experiences across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Frontend Development & Architecture

Develop and maintain dynamic, responsive web applications using React.js for cricket analytics platforms, performance dashboards, and fan engagement applications

Build scalable component libraries and reusable UI elements that align with StanceBeam's design system

Implement complex data visualizations and real-time dashboards for sports analytics and performance metrics

Optimize applications for maximum performance across different devices and browsers

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to implement design frameworks and ensure pixel-perfect, cricket-focused user experiences

Work with backend developers to integrate APIs for real-time cricket data, sensor information, and analytics services

Partner with product managers to translate cricket domain requirements into technical solutions

Code Quality & Performance

Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices and StanceBeam's coding standards

Implement comprehensive testing strategies including unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end testing

Troubleshoot and debug complex issues across web applications

Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers on React best practices

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

Continuously improve the functionality and user experience of existing cricket technology applications

Stay up to date with the latest trends in web development, React ecosystem, and sports technology

Research and implement emerging technologies that can enhance cricket analytics and user engagement

Contribute to technical decision-making and architecture discussions for new product features

Required Skills and Experience

Core Development Skills

3-7 years of professional experience in React development, preferably in sports tech, analytics, or real-time data applications

Expert proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+)

Strong understanding of React.js and its core principles: components, hooks, state management, lifecycle methods, and context API

Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries including Redux/Zustand, React Router, and Axios

Solid understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first web development

Technical Expertise

Proven experience with RESTful APIs and GraphQL for integrating backend services and real-time data feeds

Proficiency with version control systems (Git) and collaborative development workflows

Experience with modern build tools and bundlers (Webpack, Vite, or similar)

Knowledge of testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress)

Familiarity with performance optimization techniques and web analytics tools

Professional Skills

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, crucial for handling complex sports data scenarios

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a cross-functional team

Excellent communication skills to collaborate with designers, product managers, and cricket domain experts

Experience working in agile development environments with rapid iteration cycles

Nice to Have

Experience with TypeScript and modern React patterns (Server Components, Suspense)

Knowledge of Progressive Web App (PWA) development and offline-first strategies

Familiarity with data visualization libraries (D3.js, Chart.js, Recharts)

Experience with real-time technologies (WebSockets, Server-Sent Events)

Background in sports analytics platforms, wearable device integrations, or broadcast technologies
