Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design test strategies, plans, and cases for complex applications.
• Build and maintain scalable automation frameworks.
• Implement Page Object Model, Automation initiatives.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, UAT, performance, and usability testing.
• Design and execute API testing (Postman, REST Assured).
• Validate databases with complex SQL queries (MySQL/Oracle).
• Conduct performance testing with JMeter and recommend optimizations.
• Document and track defects like JIRA with detailed analysis.
• Provide test execution reports and quality metrics.
• Perform root cause analysis and collaborate with dev teams.
• Lead quality discussions with cross-functional teams.
• Basic knowledge of Git.
• Mentor junior QAs, review test scripts.
• Define testing standards, best practices, and documentation.
• Stay updated with latest QA

Required Skills/Technologies/Tools:

• 5+ years QA (manual + automation).
• Advanced Selenium WebDriver (Java/Python), TestNG, Maven.
• API testing (Postman, REST clients).
• SQL (MySQL/Oracle) for DB testing.
• JMeter for performance testing.
• Git.

Good to have Technologies/Tools

• Defect/test management tools.
• Cucumber (BDD, Gherkin).
• REST Assured, SoapUI.
• Playwright (Python/JS/TS).
• Advanced JMeter scripting.
