Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated Automation QA Engineer with 3-5 years of experience to join our team.The ideal candidate should have a strong command of automation testing and be proficient in designing, writing, and maintaining robust, reusable, and scalable test scripts.Expertise in API automation, Web automation, and performance testing is essential. The candidate should be passionate about automation best practices and capable of driving test automation initiatives independently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust automation test scripts in Java for both web and API testing.
• Build and enhance automation frameworks using tools like Selenium and TestNG .
• Automate Web UI testing using Selenium WebDriver and ensure test coverage for critical workflows.
• Develop and execute API automation tests using Postman , including scripting and validations.
• Conduct performance testing using tools such as JMeter , analyzing results to identify bottlenecks.
• Perform security testing to detect vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with best practices.
• Execute database testing by writing and validating SQL queries to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, document, and track defects throughout the development lifecycle.
• Clearly document test results, logs, and detailed defect reports , ensuring traceability and transparency.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 3-5 years of experience in automation testing.
• Proficiency in Core Java ,Selenium , API automation , and Web automation testing.
• Proficient in automation test script development , ensuring scalable, reusable, and maintainable code.
• Hands-on experience with tools such as Selenium, JMeter, Postman , and various automation frameworks
• Knowledge of security testing concepts and practices.
• Experience in database testing , including writing and executing SQL queries.
• Strong experience with TestNG and Java for scripting ; familiarity with Python is an added advantage
• Highly analytical with strong problem-solving skills, complemented by excellent communication and teamwork capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• ISTQB certification is a plus and demonstrates a strong foundation in software testing principles.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automation tests into the development workflow.
• Knowledge of cloud environments and related testing tools is a plus.
