Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Automation Engineer with 5+ years of experience in software testing and strong expertise in automation using Cypress and Selenium WebDriver. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks, ensuring high-quality product releases, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress and Selenium WebDriver
• Build and enhance scalable test automation frameworks
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing
• Work closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitHub Actions/Azure DevOps)
• Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA
• Participate in sprint planning, requirement reviews, and retrospectives
• Conduct API testing using Postman or RestAssured
• Perform cross-browser and cross-platform testing
• Mentor junior QA engineers

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Software Testing (Manual + Automation)
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• Cypress
• Selenium WebDriver
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript (for Cypress)
• Strong experience in Java (for Selenium) or equivalent language
• Experience with testing frameworks like:
• Mocha / TestNG / JUnit
• Good understanding of:
• Page Object Model (POM)
• BDD (Cucumber)
• Data-driven frameworks
• Experience with Git and version control systems
• CI/CD pipeline integration experience
• Strong knowledge of SDLC & STLC
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

Good to Have

• Experience with Playwright
• API automation experience
• Performance testing knowledge (JMeter)
• Docker / Kubernetes basics
• Cloud platform exposure (AWS/Azure/GCP)
