About the Role

We are looking for a smart, detail-oriented QA Engineer / Senior QA Engineer who has strong experience in testing e-commerce platforms , preferably Magento. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality, stability, and performance of our platforms through manual, automation, API, and performance testing .

You will work closely with product, engineering, and DevOps teams to ensure every release meets high quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Test Planning & Strategy

• Design and execute test plans for functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Review requirements and create comprehensive test cases with full coverage.
• Perform risk-based testing and prioritize critical business flows.

Manual Testing

• Test new features, custom modules, and bug fixes on Magento and custom platforms.
• Validate UX, cross-browser compatibility, responsiveness, and workflows.
• Log, track, and verify defects with clear documentation.

Automation Testing

• Develop and maintain automation scripts using tools like Selenium, TestNG, JUnit .
• Implement automated regression suites integrated with CI/CD pipelines.
• Continuously identify scenarios suitable for automation.

API & Database Testing

• Perform API testing using Postman / SoapUI .
• Validate backend data using SQL queries .

Performance & Load Testing

• Execute performance and load tests using JMeter / LoadRunner .
• Identify bottlenecks and collaborate with DevOps for optimization.

Collaboration & Agile Practices

• Work closely with developers to validate critical paths and edge cases.
• Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Support UAT and ensure feedback is resolved before release.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 47 years of experience in QA / Software Testing.
• Strong experience in e-commerce testing (Magento preferred).
• Hands-on experience with:
• Manual & Automation Testing
• API Testing (Postman, SoapUI)
• Performance Testing (JMeter, LoadRunner)
• Bug tracking tools (JIRA, TestRail)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines .
• Knowledge of Agile / Scrum methodologies.
• Exposure to AWS, microservices architecture is a plus.
• Programming knowledge in Java / Python / JavaScript .
• ISTQB certification is a plus.
