Role Overview

Werelooking for a Senior Python Engineer with strong backend fundamentals and hands-on experience working with LLMs, prompts, and AI-driven workflows.

Youllarchitect and build scalable Python-based microservices while designing AI-integrated systems that leverage LLMs for document processing, classification, extraction, reasoning, and automation.

This is a hands-on, in-office role for someone who thrives in collaborative environments and enjoys building intelligent, production-grade AI systems.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable backend services using Python (FastAPI, Flask, or Django).

Architect and implement AI-integrated workflows using LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, open-source models, etc.).

Design, test, andoptimizeprompts for structured extraction, summarization, classification, and reasoning tasks.

Build intelligent pipelines combining LLM outputs with deterministic rule engines.

Integrate AI agents into financial workflows such as invoice validation, remittance parsing, reconciliation, and anomaly detection.

Design andoptimizeMongoDB or relational database schemas for AI-augmented transactional workloads.

Implement async processing, background workers, and event-driven systems whererequired.

Build secure REST APIs and microservices for enterprise consumption.

Work closely with DevOps to deploy and scale AI workloads in AWS environments.

MonitorAI output quality, manage prompt drift, and ensure response consistency.

Troubleshoot production issues across AI and backend layers.

Mentor junior engineers and contribute to architecture and sprint planning discussions.

Required Skills & Experience

4+ years of backend development experience in Python.

Strong hands-on experience withFastAPI(preferred), Flask, or Django.

Practical experience integrating LLM APIs into production systems.

Experience designing and iterating prompts for structured outputs.

Strong understanding of JSON schemas, output validation, and post-processing logic.

Proficiencywith MongoDB or relational databases.

Experience with async programming (asyncio, Celery, background workers).

Strong debugging, optimization, and system design capabilities.

Ability to work collaboratively in an in-office, high-performance engineering culture.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience building AI agents or multi-step reasoning pipelines.

Familiarity with vector databases (Pinecone,Weaviate, FAISS, etc.).

Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems.

Exposure to prompt evaluation frameworks and guardrail systems.

Experience in FinTech, ERP integrations, or payment systems.

Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

Working knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, EKS, Lambda, etc.).
