This position entails the design and execution of scalable, high-performance backend applications utilizing the Django framework to meet business needs. Candidates should possess a solid background in Python and Django development, architectural design, and software engineering. Leadership experience in guiding development teams, collaborating with diverse stakeholders, and delivering complex projects within specified timelines and budgets is required. Effective communication, problem-solving, and analytical abilities are crucial. Additionally, proficiency in various technologies such as databases, caching systems, and message brokers is valuable for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Designing and developing backend systems that meet business requirements and performance goals, including databases, APIs, and microservices.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand and define technical requirements, system architectures, and integration points.
• Creating technical specifications, architecture diagrams, and design documents that define the system structure, functionality, and interfaces.
• Conducting code assessments and furnishing technical direction and mentorship to the development unit to ensure code excellence, sustainability, and scalability.
• Upholding adherence to established industry coding standards, optimum development methodologies, and security protocols within the system.
• Constantly innovate and evaluate emerging technologies and methods to provide scalable and elegant solutions that help clients achieve their business goals.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience with a start-up mentality and high willingness to learn
• Solid knowledge of Python, Django and Django Rest Framework
• Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem-solving skill
• Experience in Web Services and REST
• Experience in RDBMS & NoSQL database
• Proven experience with Git
• Knowledge of high-level JavaScript concepts like asynchronous programming, closures, promises, data-binding, async-await, etc.
• Expert in Python and Django code reviews
• Server Deployment
• PostgreSQL DB
• Solid understanding of database design and SQL.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful web services and API development.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
