Senior Purchasing Manager

Looking Senior Manager-Purchase in a chemical manufacturing company in Kolkata location.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and fostering a relationship with our suppliers and vendors. You will also oversee the implementation of the supply and production strategies. Prior experience in handling Purchase/ Procurement function in a manufacturing company

Responsibilities

1. He will manage, and handle all appropriate sourcing's for medium and large CAPEX & OPEX plans across the Organization.
2. 2) Develop and implement key procurement strategies and ensure that strategies are aligned with organizational objectives.
3. 2) Preparation of store budgets of factories and ensure compliance with budget. Assist in other factory related operational matters.
4. 3) Project procurement

Qualifications

• Strong negotiation skills
• 3 - 10 years' of purchasing experience-He must ensure timely delivery of quality materials, optimize costs, and maintain a competitive edge. His work will involve dealing with new vendors, analysing new projects, making comparison charts for procurement.
• Proficiency in English (written and verbal) along with MS office is a must.
