Senior Purchasing Manager

Job Summary

The Senior Manager will lead strategic initiatives, ensure compliance with company standards, and drive operational excellence. This role involves managing a team of 1-3 professionals, developing strategic plans, optimizing costs, and fostering strong partnerships with internal teams and external vendors.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure adherence to company policies, regulations, and quality standards.

Develop and implement strategic plans aligned with organizational goals.

Drive cost-reduction programs in collaboration with cross-functional teams (CFT).

Cultivate robust partnerships with vendors and service providers, both internally and externally.

Oversee import procedures and planning for critical components.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Engineering.

Proven managerial experience in a similar industry or role.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage teams effectively.

Solid understanding of budgeting, financial reporting, and performance metrics.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Problem-solving aptitude and ability to implement effective solutions.

Ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment.

Knowledge of Electrical, and Electronics is mandatory.

Experience in developing proprietary parts for construction equipment is an advantage.

Familiarity with global supplier base for E&E Parts.

Understanding of import procedures and planning.
