Job Description
Your Role:
- Strategic Communications: Develop and execute an integrated communication strategy (spanning PR, internal comms, social media, etc.) along with PR agency to drive awareness, engagement, and loyalty.
- Media Relations & PR Agency Management: Establish and maintain strong, high-level relationships with media and drive agency management.
- Crisis Management: Lead all crisis communication efforts, developing proactive strategies to mitigate risks, manage sensitive issues with diplomacy, and ensure timely and transparent responses to protect the company's image and stakeholder trust.
- Content & Messaging Oversight: Oversee the creation and dissemination of compelling, on-brand content, including press releases, speeches, articles, and digital content, ensuring message consistency across all channels.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure PR initiatives align with and support broader business goals and campaigns.
- Analytics & Reporting: Monitor industry trends and media coverage, leveraging data analytics and media monitoring tools to measure the effectiveness of PR campaigns and provide actionable insights and recommendations.
- Team Mentorship: Work with high-performing PR and communications team, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a culture of creativity, accountability, and professional growth.
Your Profile
- 12+ years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, or a related field, with a proven track record of success. Agency experiences mandatory.
- Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to craft messaging for diverse internal and external audiences.
- Strong strategic planning, problem-solving, and analytical skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
- Proven ability to lead, influence, and collaborate across teams and with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in utilizing digital communication tools, social media platforms, content management systems, and media monitoring/analytics software
- High emotional intelligence, adaptability, creativity, and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
